Programme Note

Commissioned by the flutist Tiago Ruass, this piece draws inspiration from the human nature of the sound on the flute and its ability to ignite the imagination bringing forth a vision of light and wispy clouds in the evening sky, bright with colour but always near transparent and fleeting.
